It is an expedition on the path of the condor, which develops in the knot of Vilcanota south of Cusco , on the way we can appreciate the beauty of the Andean nature as lakes, deep valleys , high Andean animals such as the famous alpaca and many luckily appreciate one of the important and significant birds in our country the condor.

Ausangate is one of the spiritual paths of magical- religious character by the presence of the Cordillera Vilcanota where the highest Cusco snowy Ausangate ( 6384 m) , the protective god in the Peruvian Andes is imposed. During the tour you have the presence of llamas, alpacas, vicuna, complemented by the presence of human groups.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 . CUSCO – T ` Inki

We will have the services of a bus which will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 am. And then go to the village of T ` inki passing the towns of Urcos,  Katqa , Ocongate , and finally to T` inki

Arriving approximately at 4pm .

DAY 2 . T ` Inki – UPIS .

After breakfast we start walking through the Q ` oñamuro community , people who are engaged in selling their own crafts . From here we can see the north side of Ausangate where you have the presence of Llamas and Alpacas, after 6 hours of walking we will reach the camp Upis ( 4400m.snm ) where there is hot springs .

DAY 3. UPIS – AUSANGATE QOCHA.

We ascend the valley Inka  Pampa and then get to Arapa pass ( 4670 m) , crossing the lakes of Yanaqocha and Pukaqocha to finally camp in Qocha Ausangate ( 4650 m ) .

DAY 4 . AUSANGATE QOCHA – TIQLLAQOCHA .

We climb Palomani Pass (5050 m) from where we can admire the beautiful snowcapped mountain called Mariposa , descending Chillkaphinaya , Hampachico then reach Tiqllaqocha (4800 m ) .

DAY 5 . TIQLLAQOCHA – Paqchanta .

Ascend the pass Hampa (5100 m) and then descend to observe and appreciate brightly colored lagoons and subsequently reach Paqchanta and enjoy the thermal waters (4200 m ) .

DAY 6. Paqchanta – T ` Inki – CUSCO .

In Paqchanta we recommend buying local textiles that are very cheap compared to Cusco. After walking 2 hours, once again get to the village of  T ` inki , where we take our bus back to Cusco.
