Colca Canyon Trekking 2D/1N

ITINERARY

Day 01: – CABANACONDE- SAN JUAN -SANGALLE

03:00 am Pick up from your respective hotels and then travel for 3 hours.6:30 a.m. arrival to Chivay to have breakfast, then we continue our tour to Cruz del Condor.

8:30:am arrival to the CRUZ DEL CONDOR, place where we will stay 40 min. approx. to appreciate the spectacular flight of the condors and the depth of the canyon. At 9:30 a.m. approx. we will arrive to San Miguel to start our walk for approximately 3 hours to the community of San Juan de Chuccho where we will have lunch with a local family.

We will have lunch with a local family and then we will continue walking 3 hours in the depths to arrive to the oasis of Sangalle Canyon where you can enjoy nature and its pools with a bonfire evening inside the Colca Canyon.

Day 02: – CABANACONDE – CHIVAY – AREQUIPA

5:00am start of our trek to Cabanaconde. 8:30am arrival to CABANACONDE to have our breakfast and return to

We will then visit the village of MACA to appreciate its church and its handicrafts.

11:30pm arrival to Yanque, to visit the thermal baths, then return to Chivay for lunch.

1:30pm return to AREQUIPA making stops at the viewpoint of the Andes (4910m.a.s.l.) where we will appreciate the volcanoes: HUALCA-HUALCA-HUALCA, HUALCA-HUALCA, HUALCA-HUALCA and HUALCA-HUALCA.

We will then make another stop at Pampas Cañahuas where we will appreciate the vicuñas, flora and fauna of the place. At 5:30pm approx. arrival to the city of Arequipa.
