Cusco, Machu Picchu - Sacred Valley

First Day: Cusco in – City Tour

Reception and transfer to selected hotel . Rest of the morning free for acclimatization. At the scheduled time ( 13:30 hrs. ) Pick up from hotel to the City Tour , which will visit the Koricancha ( Temple of the Sun ) and The Convent of Santo Domingo. Then we will visit the museum of the Cathedral will observe the colonial art of XVI and XVIII centuries, like paintings and marks made in Pan de Oro Then visit the archaeological remains that are surrounding the city of Cusco which are: Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo , Pukapukara and Pucapucara . Overnight in Cusco.

Second Day : Sacred Valley of the Incas :

After breakfast . Pick up from hotel ( 08:30 hrs. ) and head to the village of Pisaq
(located 50 minutes from Cusco) where we will appreciate the archaeological complex located 20 minutes from town and also visit the Typical Artisan Market and the Square. We continue the journey by the side of the Vilcanota River, until arriving to Urubamba , where we will have a lunch buffet. Then we discover Ollantaytambo , one of the last living Inca towns , because their streets maintain the same outline to the time of the Incas and visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there . Back to Cusco we visit the town of Chinchero , a small colonial Inca town,  its main square and church. We return to Cusco. Overnight.

Third Day: Machu Picchu

Breakfast. Early morning pick up from the hotel as class train schedule and transfer to the station. The train bound for Aguas Calientes station to get the bus to take us to the citadel of Machu Picchu is addressed. Following the guided tour of this stunning location will be for 2 and a half hours , and touring the Temple of the Three Windows, the Solar Clock , among others, will then have free time to explore on your own areas of greatest interest . At the proper time according to the schedule of the train, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Cusco. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Fourth Day: Farewell

On time transfer to the station or airport to return you to the city of origin.
