DESCRIPTION

Chinchero is a beautiful town located in the heart of the Peruvian Andes, which offers a unique and enriching experience for visitors. From the very first moment, one feels attracted by its rich culture, history and traditions. Walking through its cobblestone streets, it is possible to appreciate the houses built with stone and adobe, the colorful hand-woven textiles and the local women dressed in their typical costumes, we also learn a lot as it allows us to spend a magical night there with a local family. 

In addition, tourists can participate in weaving workshops, visit archaeological sites such as the Inca complex of Chinchero, and taste the delicious local gastronomy. The living experience in Chinchero is truly unique and allows an authentic connection with the Andean culture and its inhabitants.

EXPERIENTIAL TOURISM IN CHINCHERO 02 DAYS – 01 NIGHT

DIA 01: CUSCO – CHINCHERO

• 10:00 – 11:00 Beginning of the experience at your hotel and meeting with the rest of the group to go to the village of Chinchero.
• 11:00 – 12:00 Reception in the community with music and typical dances.
• 12:00 – 13:00 Lunch prepared with local and organic products.
• We will have the afternoon free to learn more about the traditions that are inherited to future generations.
• 18:00 – 19:00 We end the day with stories at a beautiful campfire and a delicious dinner.
• Overnight at family home

DIA 02: CHINCHERO – CUSCO

• 08:00 – 09:00 Start our day with a delicious full breakfast.
• 10:00 – 11:00 Participation in handicraft workshops where you can learn traditional weaving and pottery techniques.
• 11:00 – 12:00 Guided walk through the fields and orchards to learn about Andean agricultural methods and the different varieties of crops.
• 12:00 – 14:00 We enjoy our lunch and then say goodbye to the whole team.
• 14:30 – 15:30 We finish our trip back to Cusco.

• Informative talk: A day before the service, a meeting is held at the hotel where we will have a complete orientation about the experience.

• Tourist transportation: An ideal transportation from Cusco – Chinchero – Cusco.
