Captive Flight in Maras

DESCRIPTION

The hot air balloon flight activity in the Maras sector, in Cusco, is a unique and unforgettable experience that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Peruvian Andes landscapes. The adventure begins early in the morning, when the hot air balloon team arrives at the meeting place to prepare the aircraft for the flight. Passengers climb into the balloon and, as they rise into the air, they feel as if they are floating in a dream. 

From the height, you can see the impressive terraced fields, the Andes Mountains, the town of Maras, the salt mines of Maras and the sacred mountain of Pitusiray. The flight lasts approximately one hour and ends with a soft and safe landing at a pre-arranged location. Passengers celebrate the experience with a glass of champagne and a country breakfast before returning to their lodging, taking with them an unforgettable souvenir of this spectacular hot air balloon flight.

CAPTIVE FLIGHT IN MARAS HALF DAY

• 06:00 – 08:00 We meet the rest of the group at the Regocijo square and from there we head to the Poroy sector where the activity and equipment are located.
• Upon arrival we get an informative talk about the safety equipment and how the experience is carried out.
• 08:30 – 09:30 We start with the overflight and get an incredible view of the entire sacred valley from where we can see places like Maras.
• 10:00 – 11:00 As we descend we enjoy a delicious picnic organized as a courtesy.
• 11:30 – 12:30 We start our return trip to the city of Cusco.

• Briefing: One day before the service, a meeting is held at the hotel where we will have a complete orientation about the experience.
