ITINERARY
First Day: Cusco in – City Tour
Reception and transfer to selected hotel. Rest of the morning free for acclimatization. At the scheduled time (13:30 hrs.) Pick up from hotel to the City Tour , which we will visit the Koricancha ( Temple of the Sun ) and The Convent of Santo Domingo. Then we will visit the museum of the Cathedral will observe the colonial art of XVI and XVIII centuries, like paintings and marks made in Pan de Oro (golden bread style). Then visit the archaeological remains that are surrounding the city of Cusco which are: Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo , Pukapukara and Pucapucara . Overnight in Cusco.
Second Day: Machu Picchu – Cusco
Early morning, we have breakfast (0530 hrs.) to take the first train. After picking up from your hotel, we will transfer to the railway station.
The train bound for Aguas Calientes Station and arrives around 10:00 hrs. , Then take the bus to take us to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Then we will have a guided tour of this magical place for 3 hours, visiting the temple of the three windows , the solar clock, among others , then we will have time enough to go on our own areas of our interest. Then according to the time of return of the train, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to board the train back Cusco. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
Third day Cusco Out
On time transfer to the station or airport to return you to your hometown.
