Itinerary
Early morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel around 5:45 am to go to the Cusco train station for a three hour trip to Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as “The Lost City of the Incas”. Once we arrive at Aguas Calientes station ( 2000 m ) we will take a bus on a journey of 30 minutes climbing a zigzag way to the incredible Machu Picchu . The tour includes a tour guide of the Citadel, visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. Free time to stroll around the citadel and to take our food (lunch) . Then descend to Aguas Calientes where we will enjoy the hot springs if you want. In the afternoon, we will be boarding our train back to Cusco, at 3:30 pm arriving approximately at 8:30 p.m.
