Itinerary
ADVENTURE HIKE
DIA 01: CUSCO – OLLANTAYTAMBO – ABRA MÁLAGA – MARANURA
- We will start early passing by the hotels around 06:30 am with our tourist transport and then continue the trip heading first to Ollantaytambo where we can buy some last things for the trip. Then we will ascend to the Malaga pass, at an altitude of 4350 meters above sea level. Upon arrival we will have a brief briefing and we will deliver a mountain bike for each participant. From there begins the exciting descent through paved roads to reach the sector of Carrizales where a full breakfast awaits us to regain strength and to continue our journey by bike.
- During the trip we will be able to appreciate the archaeological center of Wamanmarka and enjoy the variety of local fauna and flora. In the afternoon we will arrive to the sector of Santa Maria where we will have lunch. Finally we will arrive to Maranura where we will stay this day in a family house and enjoy free time to learn about the coffee and cocoa harvest.

DIA 02: MARANURA – SANTA TERESA
- Around 06:00 am, we wake up first to have a delicious light tasting of coffee and local fruit juices, prepared in the family home. Afterwards, we continue our journey now walking along one of the ancient Inca trails that borders the Vilcanota River and offers a steep and captivating landscape, with large chasms that reach up to 800 m deep.
- After a short walk, we will arrive at the village of Qellomayo, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. During our tour, we will have the opportunity to see the local fauna up close, such as hummingbirds, parrots, eagles and more. Our path is now on one side of the same river so we will soon arrive at the Cocalmayo hot springs, close to the town of Santa Teresa. After relaxing in the hot springs, we will continue to Santa Teresa where we will have dinner and rest.

DIA 03: SANTA TERESA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUAS CALIENTES
- When we wake up and get ready we have the option of additional activities that we can choose at the time, in this case is the zip line (has an additional price), this allows us to cross the valley from side to side through a cable, providing a unique experience of adrenaline. After this activity we can board our transportation that will take us to the Hydroelectric station, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.
- We will then continue our 3-hour hike along the side of the railway until we reach Aguas Calientes, a small town located at the foot of Machu Picchu. During the journey we can visit the Mandor gardens, where we can appreciate a variety of local flora and with a little luck we can find native bird species such as the cock of the rock. Upon arrival we will have lunch and have the afternoon free to visit the village and rest in our hotel to wait for our last day.

DIA 04: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
- In the morning after breakfast we ascend in a tourist bus to the citadel of Machupicchu where we enjoy a guided and complete visit touring the main places such as the guardian’s house, main square, temple of the 3 windows and others.
- After 2 hours of visit we leave the citadel to board a bus that will finally take us to Aguas Calientes where we can have lunch in one of the restaurants that are on private account. Finally in the afternoon we board a train that will take us to Ollantaytambo where we will make a connection with the tourist bus of bimodal service that will finally bring us to the city of Cusco, arriving on average at 18:30 pm.
- The transportation leaves us near the Temple of the Sun where we can choose to take a cab or go to the main square to walk.

- Huaynapicchu ticket: Special entrance to access the Huaynapicchu mountain.
