Maras Moray Quad Bikes

DESCRIPTION

Our adventure contains 2 very important points within the Andean culture and also in present times. First are the circular terraces of Moray that were built by the Incas and its original use is still unclear but it is well directed towards agriculture. On the other hand we also have the salt flats of Maras that are a complex of salt mines, its importance lies in its value as a natural resource and in the ancestral technique used by the inhabitants of the area to extract salt, which to this day serves as a means of barter with other communities.

This is an ideal adventure for adrenaline lovers, it can be enjoyed by travelers who come with their families (in the case of children there are age recommendations and safety documents), couples and friends or alone exploring new adventures.

MARAS MORAY HALF DAY ATVS

• 06:40 – 07:00 Start the experience at your hotel and meet the rest of the group.
  
• 07:00 – 07:40 Drive from Cusco to our base in Cruzpata.
  
• 07:40 – 08:00 Brief safety talk and practice with the ATVs. 08:00 – 10:00 Start the ATV adventure to see the Huaypo lagoon and then the terraces of Moray.
  
• 10:20 – 11:30 We resume the trip to reach the salt mines of Maras.
  
• 12:30 – 13:30 Finally we return to the base and then to the city of Cusco.
  
• We finish our experience in the San Francisco square or Regocijo square.

OUR PROGRAM INCLUDES:

• Briefing: One day before the service, a meeting is held at the hotel where we will have a complete orientation about the experience.
  
• Personalized groups: The groups are small and personalized to provide a better shared experience.
  
• Professional guide: A professional tour guide specialized in adventure tourism, with English and Spanish skills.
  
• Tourist transportation: An ideal transportation for the places to visit according to the number of participants.
  
• Equipment: Personal ATV and safety equipment (helmet, gloves and first aid kit).
  
• Entrance Ticket: Partial Tourist Ticket and Maras.

OUR PROGRAM DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Meals: All those not mentioned within the itinerary.
  
• Extra expenses: Some expenses such as purchase of handicrafts, clothes or drinks, are also not included in the tour. Tips are not included and are voluntary.
  
• Travel insurance: This is extremely important to enjoy a safe trip.
