The 2 day tour of Lake Titicaca is an unforgettable experience in which you can explore the natural and cultural beauty of the Andean region of Peru allowing us to spend a magical night on the natural island of Amantani. In this opportunity we will be able to visit the highest navigable lake in the world, the beautiful and mysterious Lake Titicaca, located in the city of Puno and is the natural border with Bolivia. The traditions found at this point are so incredible and important that they are inherited from generation to generation. Itinerary
LAKE TITICACA 02 DAYS – 01 NIGHT
DAY 01: UROS – AMANTANI
- 06:40 – 07:00 Start the experience at your hotel and meet the rest of the group.
- 07:00 – 07:30 Transportation takes us directly to the port of the city to board the boat.
- 07:30 – 10:00 We begin with the visit first to the artificial islands of Uros to learn about its history and then continue to the natural island of Amantani.
- 10:30 – 15:00 We arrive in Amantani and the community welcomes us in a fraternal way, one of the families is the one who accompanies us to the family home and at night we will have a celebration for our stay.
- Overnight stay in the family home
DAY 02: TAQUILE – PUNO
- 08:00 – 09:00 We enjoy our breakfast in the community of Amantani.
- 09:00 – 10:30 We continue our journey to the island of Taquile where we will have an experiential experience. Then we ascend to the top of the island to visit the archaeological center dedicated to the cult of the sun.
- 12:30 – 14:00 We enjoy our typical lunch on the island and visit a handicraft center.
- 14:00 – 16:00 After saying goodbye we finally return to the city of Puno where transportation will take us to the hotel.
