A place hidden among the mountains that shows us the great importance that these spaces had in Inca times and their ancestors. It is known for its spectacular rock formations and cliffs, which provide an impressive view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Stone structures can be found in the site, including plazas, towers, terraces, stairways and ceremonial enclosures. All of these are evidence of the high level of engineering and architecture of the ancient Andean civilizations.
This is undoubtedly the best option for hikers who do not have much time. It is also feasible for family groups, couples and friends or on your own exploring new adventures.

Itinerary
WAQRAPUKARA MOUNTAIN 01 DAY
- 05:00 – 05:30 Beginning of the experience at your hotel and meeting with the rest of the group.
- 05:30 – 09:30 Our transportation will take us to the Santa Lucia sector where we will enjoy a full breakfast.
- 10:00 – 10:30 We continue to the parking area and leave the transportation.
- 11:00 – 13:00 We ascend the trail to the top of the mountain to reach Waqrapukara and learn more about its history. We enjoy some free time to take pictures and have lunch.
- 14:30 – 18:00 We finish with the return to our transport and then to the city of Cusco.
- We finish our experience in the main square or Plaza Regocijo.
