DESCRIPTION

The Colca Canyon is one of the deepest canyons in the world. This majestic canyon is located in the Arequipa region, and is a popular tourist destination for its breathtaking natural beauty and the opportunity to see the majestic flight of the Andean condor. 

In addition, the Colca Canyon area is home to several Andean communities that maintain their ancestral traditions and offer a unique cultural experience for visitors. Without a doubt, the Colca Canyon is a must for any traveler in search of adventure and the opportunity to experience the cultural and natural richness of Peru.

COLCA CANYON 01 DAY

• 03:00 – 06:00 Start of the experience at your hotel and meet with the rest of the group to go to the town of Chivay.
• We enjoy free time to have breakfast at leisure.
• 07:00 – 10:30 We continue our journey until we reach the condor’s cross where you can see the entire canyon and according to the date we can see condors. We also appreciate the vast andenería that exists and before returning we can visit the thermal baths of Yanque.
• 12:30 – 14:00 We will return to Chivay where we will have lunch.
• 14:00 – 17:00 We start our return trip, on the way we will visit the viewpoint of the volcanoes, the bofedales of toccra that are spaces of alpaca breeding, finally we arrive to Arequipa.
• We finish our experience back to our hotel.

• Informative talk: A day before the service, a meeting is held at the hotel where we will have a complete orientation about the experience.

• Lunch: Includes a lunch service in Chivay.

OUR PROGRAM DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Meals: Meals can be requested before or after the tour.
• Hot springs: Entrance is optional so it is not included.
• Extra expenses: Some expenses such as purchase of handicrafts, clothes or drinks, are also not included in the tour. Tips are not included and are voluntary.
• Travel insurance: This is extremely important to enjoy a safe trip.
